DT Spotlight - Julie

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Julie of I Made A Card!

Hi,

Here's my February spotlight.  Happily there is a new baby in the family and so a lovely card was called for.

I've love this image for baby cards - it works so well and is just perfect. (Especially if you are feeling a little lazy and don't want to do lots of colouring!)

What really makes this card is all the glamour dust on - the picture does it no justice as it is so sparkly in real life.

Thanks for looking!

Oh how absolutely adorable!! What a beautiful soft palette, and I too love the image for baby cards!!  Make sure to swing by Julie's blog and say hello!!

DT Spotlight - Mari

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Mari of Me and My Crazy Family!

I had so much fun with this card- but I didn't realize that Sushi rolls would be so hard to color! It took me a while to get them the right color. I love the sentiment I added here- but I can't take credit for it, I googled "Sushi puns" and this was my favorite.

Mari this is just adorable!  I have never tried to color sushi... it sounds like a lot of work!  Make sure you swing by Mari's blog and see more of her crafty goodies!!

DT Spotlight - Leanne

Hello!!
I'm excited to be back after a nice long break.  I hope everyone is doing great and that 2015 has been good to you so far!  :)  For my spotlight post I decided to share this lycee envelope with you.  This year the Chinese zodiac is the Wooden or Green Sheep.  Chinese New Year lands on February 19th according to the Chinese lunar calendar.  Thought I'd try to get ahead and make some lycee envelopes for my friends.  Going to the KBD Etsy shop I found the perfect little lamb to use.  He is part of a set of 3 in the KBD Zodiac Set II.  Did you know that there are 3 sets of cute zodiac stamps in the shop?  From time to time I take a peek at them and tell myself, I'm gonna use this one or that one next.  (hahaha) After printing him out and "fun-cutting" him I colored him with shades of browns and golds.  I finished off the envelope with a matching sentiment and some beautiful washi paper.  For more details come by my blog where you'll see what's inside the envelope.  Yep, it's a fun surprise.  (hehe) Thanks for stopping by today!!  See you soon!
